Lisa Brown Lisa has practised and studied Buddhist meditation for 20 years and integrates teachings from the Buddhadharma, Yoga and Contemporary Psychology. She has a strong commitment to an engaged Buddhist path of practice and collective awakening toward a deep remembering of our interconnectedness with the water, land, forests, sky and all beings. Lisa lives and works on Gumbaynggirr lands and studies in the Tibetan Buddhist Mahayana and Theravadan traditions. |

Nadine Levy Nadine Levy has been practising Buddhism for over 25 years across the Zen and Insight traditions. By day, she works as an academic at a Buddhist higher education institute where she teaches mindfulness and compassion science to postgraduate students and the public. She is passionate about the body's wisdom and soulful ways of knowing and sensing. Her teaching style is intuitive, organic, playful, and inquisitive. She enjoys adventures with her baby, eight-year-old son and partner, and taking in the mountains she lives close to, as well as periods of silence and retreat. |

Renata Malinauskas
Renata Malinauskas has been a dedicated Dharma practitioner for over 15 years, beginning in the Vipassana tradition and later deepening through Vajrayana, Western Insight, and non-dual teachings. She has extensive experience in silent retreat practice and now serves as an insight meditation teacher, leading residential retreats, workshops, and courses in Australia and online. Renata is the co-founder and resident teacher at Still Water Insight and completed a four-year Dharma Teacher Training with the Insight Meditation Institute. Kate Duncan
Kate Duncan has been practising and studying Buddhist meditation since 2007, beginning at Spirit Rock Meditation Centre before her return to Australia. Kate’s Dharma is deeply influenced by her love of yoga philosophy and her years as a Paramedic. Kate’s work has a focus on trauma awareness, safety and kindness. She co-wrote and facilitates the transformative Mindfulness-based Trauma Recovery program for Frontline Workers with Lisa Brown and co-founded Sky Sangha- a weekly online gathering that shares wisdom for modern times. Roger Wilde Roger lives in Nelson, Aotearoa-NZ, with his wife and two sons and works in early childhood education. For three years in the early 1990s, he lived as a Soto Zen practitioner with Harada Tangen Roshi in Fukui, Japan. He began practicing Insight meditation in 2008 with Sharda Rogell and Jeremy Logan. He leads the Insight Nelson sangha, offering weekly meditation meetings and annual retreats. |

Gabrielle McMahon Gabrielle began practicing Meditation and Yoga Dharma in Japan over 17 years ago. The intention to deepen her meditation practice led to the discovery of Vipassana and Insight Meditation traditions 10 years ago. She is a MMTCP graduate with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and a 350-hour Yoga Teacher. Gabrielle practices in the Mahasi Sayadaw Insight tradition and is passionate about sharing Buddha's teachings with authenticity and kindness. Robyn Gibson
Robyn has been practicing and studying meditation for 30 years, predominantly in the Mahasi lineage of Theravadan Buddhism. Patrick Kearney and Carol Perry are her principal teachers and mentors. Authorised to teach in 2015, Robyn leads one-day and multi-day retreats, women’s circles, dharma yatras and online meditation courses. Louise Taylor
Louise is an Insight Meditation Dharma Teacher, midwife and jewellery artisan, with over 25 years experience in meditation and dharma practice. Her principle teachers are Subhana Barzaghi and Patrick Kearney. She is also strongly influenced by the Burmese Mahasi lineage including the teachings of Sayadaw U Pandita and Sayadaw U Tajaniya. Other influences include Carol Perry, Ajahn Chah, Bhikkhu Analayo, Ajahn Amaro, Venerable Nagarjuna and Rob Burbea. Louise has been teaching since 2019. Ali Barlow
Ali is an Insight Dharma Teacher after completing the inaugural Insight Meditation Institute’s four year Dharma Teacher program. Her teaching is grounded in understanding, a deep love for the Dharma and a life of service. She has been mentored in the supporting teacher role by Will James since 2017. Ali has supported multiple insight meditation retreats over many years. She also leads yatras and helps to facilitate a weekly sitting group in Bellingen. Ali began a meditative life in 1997 whist staying in an Ashram in South India. She attended her first Insight Meditation Retreat in 2008 where her love for the Buddha Dharma opened like a flower. This love led quite naturally into a life of service to support her teacher Will James, Tallowwood Sangha and retreat life for one and all. She is a member of the Tallowwood Sangha Management Committee. |
