Lisa Brown Lisa has practised and studied Buddhist meditation for 20 years and integrates teachings from the Buddhadharma, Yoga and Contemporary Psychology. She has a strong commitment to an engaged Buddhist path of practice and collective awakening toward a deep remembering of our interconnectedness with the water, land, forests, sky and all beings. Nadine Levy
Nadine Levy has been practising Buddhism for over 25 years across the Zen and Insight traditions. By day, she works as an academic at a Buddhist higher education institute where she teaches mindfulness and compassion science to postgraduate students and the public. She is passionate about the body's wisdom and soulful ways of knowing and sensing. Her teaching style is intuitive, organic, playful, and inquisitive. She enjoys adventures with her baby, eight-year-old son and partner, and taking in the mountains she lives close to, as well as periods of silence and retreat. |
Renata Malinauskas
Renata has devoted over 15 years to the study and practice of Buddha Dharma, starting with the Tibetan tradition and later exploring Vipassana and Western Insight. She co-founded and leads the Still Water Insight Group in Sydney's Northern Beaches and is an active committee member of the Insight Meditation Institute. Renata has a deep interest in the relationship between Buddhism and Psychotherapy, focusing on their mutual benefits in awakening, healing and personal growth. Kate Duncan
Kate is an Insight Dharma Teacher, a Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction teacher, and an E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor. Kate facilitates silent meditation retreats, women’s retreats and leads mindfulness-based trauma recovery programs for frontline workers. She has been a practitioner of meditation for 15 years and has sat (and facilitated) over 40 retreats in the Western Insight tradition of up to 30 days in length. Kate has been deeply influenced by her years as a paramedic, the role of mindfulness of the body, yoga and breath in trauma recovery and is deeply passionate about sharing these body based practices. Roger Wilde
Roger lives in Nelson, Aotearoa-NZ, with his wife and two sons and works in early childhood education. For three years in the early 1990s, he lived as a Soto Zen practitioner with Harada Tangen Roshi in Fukui, Japan. He began practicing Insight meditation in 2008 with Sharda Rogell and Jeremy Logan. He leads the Insight Nelson sangha, offering weekly meditation meetings and annual retreats. |
Gabrielle McMahon
Gabrielle began practicing Meditation and Yoga Dharma in Japan over 17 years ago. The intention to deepen her meditation practice led to the discovery of Vipassana and Insight Meditation traditions 10 years ago. She is a MMTCP graduate with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and a 350-hour Yoga Teacher. Gabrielle practices in the Mahasi Sayadaw Insight tradition and is passionate about sharing Buddha's teachings with authenticity and kindness.
